have you ever heard of a zorse? well a zorse is a cross between a zebra and a horse a very new thing you can look around i have a picture in my site of a zorse, But now they have the newest breed a Zetland or a Shebra! The cross between a shetlaand pony and a Zebra! they have not decided yet what to name it! Which one do you think should be the name? the owners of Tilly the Shetland pony received a double surprise when tilly gave birth! Birth to a Zetland or shebra that is. They Diddn't even know she was pregnant and they certainly diddn't expect a zebra.
tillys owners at eden Ostrich world, a modest visitor attraction on a farm near Penrith in north west England had been unaware of the p0onies past life ata wildlife park where she shared a feild witha male zebra
She was fairly fat when we received her and we thought that she was getting fatter" Ostrich World manager Karen Peet says.
"It was really a shock when we got up to feed her and the foal was there."
The half Shetland half Zebra foal-dubbed a "Zetland" or a "Shebra"-has flourished sinde her birth a week ago. The farm plans to hold a competition to name the creature, which has tan and black stripesand a distinctive zebras head.
Veterinarians say "Such a foal is rare but not unknown."

Stop Cruelty to Horses!
There have been many cases of animal cruelty. It's so sad wether the animal has been beaten, starved, or abandonded it is one of the worst things that can happen! A year or so ago a beatiful dapple gery horse was found locked in a stall for YEARS! When they found the horse there was manure stacked 6-7 feet! His teeth were very over groan wich made very hard to eat the small bits of mmoldy hay and grass that remained his hooves were grown so long they started to curl! But amazingly he survived! In such conditions any other horse probabaly couldnn't have survived he was rushed out of that stall and straight to the horse doctor. thanks to horse rescue shelters he was rehabilitated and is now a very healthy and happy horse.
