ARABIANS
Araibians are a beautiful and well known breed. They have a very delicate and curved face with a small nose. But you shouldn't get a Araibian as a first horse they are qiute spooky at small things and they are very delicate.

APPALOOSA
The appaloosa is a very energetic breed and is often very mean or hard to handle. The appaloosa was one of the first breeds and it is a native breed bred by the Nez-pierce indians at a time Appaloosa was one of the most popular breeds in the U.S. beacause of its hardiness and challenge to the rider.

BARB
The barb is usually used infights around Araibia. The Barb horse can come in quite a few colors but the most common are grey, bay, black, fleabitten gey and dapple Rarey is it any other color but thoose. The Barb is a forgotten breed that many people do not know of.

BASHKIR CURLY
The Bashkir Curly is obviouslky a curly type of horse one of my favorite horses is a Bashkir Curly! Not many people know what a bashkir curly is so I guess you could say it is kind of a forgoten or rare breed.

CLYDESDALE
The Clydesdale is a very huge and heavy breed. The Clydesdale is used for pulling things like carts, wagons, carriages, plows, or any old thing except for riding! Clydesdales are usually not ridden beacause of there bumpy gait and unless you have your own personal saddle maker it might be hard to find a saddle big enough to fit such a big horse like the Clydesdale.

CONNEMARA
As you can see above the connemara is a very popular horse coming in all diffrent colors. The most common color you see on a traditional connemara is a grey (a white horse with black skin). When grey connemara horses are foals they are brown and as they get older they shed there brown coat and leave a white one.

DARTMOOR
The Dartmoor breed is vanishing and soon it could be exctinct. The dartmoor is also a small hardy pony but sometimes the mares are dying at birth there is not yet an explanation but hopefully the breed will somehow come back in great numbers iy would a terrible loss to never have theese little fellows again!

EXMOOR
The Exmoor is and always has been an rare breed of horse. Dartmoors like this stallion Traditionly have dark points,However it can come in all diffrent colors not many but a few like Sorrel Chestnut, Bay, Palimino, Grey, Albino, Chestnut and Dun.

FALLABELLAS
The fallabellas are a very small and sturdy breed they are '34 inches and over. The Fallabella is also a very old breed it traces all the way back to the time of the andalousian 1530 wich was 700 years ago! For 150 years the fallabella has been the favorite breed in Aregentinea. Today over 15,000 fallabellas are in North America.

FRIESIAN
The Friesian like the fallabella is a very old breed it dates back to midevil so it is about 1,500 years old wich is actually quite older than the little fallabella. The friesian was used in the medevil times as a gaurd horse or a knights horse they are a very magestic looking breed I myself love the Friesian breed it looks so powerful and still it can be so very graceful. The babyb Friesans are very cute! HACKNEY
The high stepping Hackney is quite a common and beautiful breed. The Hackney is famous for its high steps and pulling carts. It is usually a good tempered and well mannered horse.

LIPPIZANER
The Famous Lippizaner Stallions from vienna travel around the world. The Lippizaner is also a all around good horse. If you have seen the Famous Lippizaner Stallions perform you can tell it is one of the smartest horses when they drule it meens the're thinking infact if they dont drule you loose points in a dressage show!

MISSOURI FOX TROTTER
The Missouri Fox Trotter was bred around 150 years ago! This breed is a very popular horse. They are also about the prettiest breed to me I hope you like them to. If you dont cut their mane it will grow beautiful long wavy hair like the Stallion Missouri Fox Trotter above.

OLDENBURG
The Oldenburg is a beautiful and sweet horse usually well tempered. The Oldenbug is almost unheard of but I had to put it up beacause they're so beauutiful. Of course the oldenburg originated in the small city Oldenburg.

PASO-FINO
The Paso -Fino is a beautiful spanish horse. it is commonly mistaked by the Peruvian-Paso wich looks excactly like the Paso-Fino. The Paso-Fino is known for its beautiful gates and strides. It is a dream to ride suitale for almost anyone.

PERUVIAN-PASO
The peruvian-Paso is a gourgeous horse that comes in almost every colpor I think they are defainnetly the most beautiful horses in the world. If you would like to see a Peruvian Paso in "Horse of the Month" Vote for it at the poll page!

QAURTER HORSE
The Qaurter horse is named a Qaurter horse simply beacause it can run a Qaurter mile race the fastest of all horses. The Qaurter horse is one of the most common horses. It is often used at ranches and in western riding. QAurter Ponies are the exact same breed as a Qaurter horse just as a pony.

SADDLE BREDS
The Saddle Bred is a beautiful horse it comes in almost every color the most common is the pinto Saddle Bred. The Breed is quite common. They have a high stepping pace much like the Tennessee Walker

The Welsh Mountian Pony
The Welsh is a breed that was started in Brittan about two houndred years ago. Today it is well known for being a great childrens pony.
